Outbound pallet compliance for retail suppliers
Catch pallet compliance problems before they become retailer chargebacks.
Zira checks outbound pallets for configured visible defects, load configuration, wrapping and labels, then creates a shipment record before carrier handoff.
One facility. One lane. Thirty days. No broad rollout required.
The problem
Most teams discover the problem after the deduction.
Manual or sampled inspections can miss visible exceptions. When the charge arrives later, the supplier may not have a usable record of the pallet's condition when it left the dock.
- Visible issue left the facility. The problem could have been caught before handoff.
- Condition changed later. The team needs a shipment record from the selected inspection point.
- Reason codes repeat. The team needs to see which facilities, lanes and load formats create the pattern.
What Zira does
Prevent what you can. Document what you shipped.
Zira applies configured visual checks at the outbound lane so the team can act before the truck leaves and preserve evidence of condition at the inspection point.
PREVENT
Alert before the truck leaves
Alert the team when a configured visible condition fails.
PROVE
Keep the record
Preserve the approved inspection record before carrier handoff.
IMPROVE
Find the pattern
Identify recurring exceptions by facility, lane, product format or workflow.
How it works
From reason code to outbound action
- Start with your deductions.Review the last 90 days of pallet, load, packaging and label reason codes.
- Define visible rules.Select the conditions that can be checked reliably at the outbound lane.
- Inspect in flow.Check configured conditions as pallets move through the selected shipping point.
- Measure the opportunity.Track prevented exceptions, evidence coverage and where failures originate.
Inspection categories
Configure the checks around the reason codes that matter
- Pallet condition and visible damage
- Load configuration, stack pattern, overhang, lean and stability
- Stretch wrap presence and visible integrity
- Label presence and placement
- Count, dimensions or height when included in the approved deployment scope
Scope is set per deployment. The checks that run on your lane are confirmed during the technical review before anything is committed.
The 30 day diagnostic
Start with one lane, not a network wide project.
We establish the current chargeback baseline, define the visible rules, inspect outbound pallets and measure prevented exceptions plus evidence captured.
If the leading reason codes are not visually detectable or the opportunity is not measurable, stop there.
Review the 30 day diagnosticWhy this works
Built around a measurable operational question
Which pallet related deductions could have been prevented or better documented before carrier handoff?
The diagnostic answers that question on one lane before any broader commitment.
Questions
What operations teams ask first
Will this slow the dock?
The diagnostic is designed to validate the check in the existing outbound flow. Cycle time and operator steps are measured before expansion.
Does it prove who caused damage?
It documents condition at the selected inspection point. That evidence can support root cause analysis and disputes, but it does not by itself prove downstream custody or fault.
What if our top reason codes are not visible?
The first step maps reason codes to conditions that can be checked reliably. If the opportunity is not visually detectable, the diagnostic should not proceed.
Do we need a network wide installation?
No. The starting scope is one facility, one outbound lane and thirty days.
Can it use our current camera environment?
The team will assess the selected lane and recommend a compatible capture configuration. Do not promise compatibility before the technical review.
What evidence is retained?
Inspection records are retained for three months by default. Longer retention is available as a paid option: one year, three years, or indefinitely. The record format and the retention period for your deployment are confirmed in writing before the diagnostic begins.
Next step
Find out what one outbound lane could prevent or document in thirty days.
Bring your top pallet, load, packaging or label reason codes. We will compare them with what can be checked before carrier handoff.
No broad rollout required.
Request received.
Thank you. A member of the Zira team will reply within one business day to arrange the 20 minute review. Bring your top pallet, load, packaging or label reason codes to that session.
